It has been a busy December for the KM4! We love Christmas in St. Louis, and this season we’ve been blessed to be part of many events. Perhaps none as unusual as playing the Metrolink‘s Magic Holiday Train! One Saturday we got on it and road the training playing jazz tunes and Christmas songs from Shrewsbury to Fairview Heights. It was a hoot.
We also played a corporate Christmas event that a bank does for their special clients. This week a trio version of the group plays at the Plaza Frontenac. Steve (sax) and I also did a private party that had a 1920s “Speakeasy” theme (yes we come with costumes when absolutely necessary!).
The holidays are always more special with music, and some jazzy Christmas music class up everything — even a moving train!
