Thinkin’ Summer Time

… the song that is. Sure, St. Louis got hit with four inches of wet heavy white stuff today, but as we’re booking for spring/summer/fall outdoor events, we’re thinking of that time in the not too distant future when we’re wearing sleeveless shirts – pants optional. Which brings to mind a fan favorite, our version of Summer Time – this version is from us playing last summer at Eckert‘s, which is having us back for a sixth year in a row (looks like June but stand by for exact date).

We play a lot a of swanky corporate and fun weddings, but when we get to play a public event outside, we have a great time. First, as we don’t play public gigs that much, our long suffering fans make a big effort to come out and here us (lookin’ at you, Mom). Plus since we play jazz like a rock band and rock and blues like a jazz band (check out our version of Moon Dance), we really appeal to a wide group, aka, everyone.

The KM4 has been honored to play a variety of great gigs, from the Webster Jazz & Blues Fest to various city and county communities having outdoor concerts. We put on a high energy show and what can we say? Our enjoyment is infectious. We’d love to play your community event, and if you serve anything fried on a stick, you get a 10 percent discount. Otherwise, we’ll see you this summer – sans snow boots, and you’ll L-O-V-E us.
